The Balaton bike Derby is one of the biggest events of the year for us.
Balaton loop with extras: this is the Balaton Bike Derby!

The Balaton Bike Derby is BPH’s latest tour. When creating the Derby route, the main consideration was to be able to get around the Hungarian sea on easy terrain and small roads. On the tour you can get to know Lake Balaton from a new perspective: we will touch the most beautiful points of the Balaton Uplands, we will take you to Kis-Balaton, and you will be able to cycle around the southern shore that you are not guaranteed to meet yet. Wonderful panoramas, endless vineyards, brilliant forest roads, a real joy cycle all weekend! It is a tour of Lake Balaton, without the crowded cycle path on Lake Balaton and the crowds of tourists.

WHAT DOES THE TICKET PRICE CONTAIN?

HOW MUCH DOES A TICKET COST?

You can only enter the Balaton Bike Derby for the full term, there are no distance alternatives at this event. A maximum of 200 people can register for the event.

The price of a standard ticket is 26,900 HUF

WHAT CATEGORIES CAN YOU ENTER?

One of the innovations of this year is that it can be entered in two categories: TOUR and SOLO.

Entrants to the SOLO are subject to stricter performance rules and start one day later than the field, so they have 1 day less time to complete the tour.

We recommend entering the SOLO category for those who want to complete the event in a performance-oriented, competitive manner! Click here for more information.

THE ROUTE

In the outer perimeter of Lake Balaton we have marked an adventurous trail for you for the event!
As this is the first annual debut event, licensing is still underway, so the final, downloadable .gpx will only be sent to starters in June 2021. After the event, the trail will be free to download. We have uploaded this image as a preview, we reserve the right to make changes to what is seen here.
